Nicole Serra, D.D.S.
Dr. Serra was born and raised in Ballard, Washington. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Santa Clara University in California in 1997. In 2001 she received her doctoral degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry along with the American Student Dental Association Award of Excellence and the UW School of Dentistry Governance and Service Award.

Dr. Serra is married to Dr. Joseph Van Mieghem who is also a general dentist. Together they enjoy the outdoors, playing tennis and spending time with their two daughters at their home in Edmonds. Dr. Serra also sings with various local choirs and is very committed to her family, friends and two lovable dogs.

Sabrina Habib, D.D.S
Dr. Habib was born in London, England and raised in Marysville, WA where she graduated as valedictorian from Marysville-Pilchuck High School. She then attended the University of Washington where she majored in Cell and Molecular Biology and minored in Chemistry, earning a Bachelor of Science degree and graduating Magna cum Laude. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the UW School of Dentistry. There her accomplishments included the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Student Award, the Alumni Services Scholarship and the President's Achievement Award. She was also involved in student government as well as teaching underclassmen as a Fixed Prosthodontics Student Instructor. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association and the Snohomish County Dental Society. She is also a member of the University of Washington School of Dentistry Alumni Association and serves on the Board of Trustees.

She attends various continuing dental education courses and study clubs in the Seattle area. She believes in giving back to the community and volunteers her time throughout the year.

Dr Habib is a big local sports fan, especially Mariners baseball and Husky football! She enjoys watching movies, cooking, entertaining, and being outdoors.

Katie Filion, R.D.H.
Katie Filion was born and raised in Lynnwood, WA and currently resides in Edmonds with her husband Andrew. Katie graduated from the Shoreline dental hygiene program with honors and plans to continue her education to gain a Bachelor’s degree in the future. Her main goals in practicing dental hygiene are to provide her patients with thorough and optimal care, while maintaining a gentle touch to help each patient feel comfortable and have a positive experience. Outside of work Katie’s main interests are camping, hiking, watching movies, and reading.
